Neurotoxins are threatening our children's brains
Toxic chemicals are endangering and poisoning our children's brains. The biggest window of vulnerability to chemicals is between conception and early childhood. The neurotoxins impact brain development and can cause a number of neurodevelopment disabilities. Neurotoxins can also affect behaviour.
happylittlegems top tips to help protect your child's brain from neurotoxicity:
Try to stick to 'real food' rather than processed food
Try to avoid sugar-free products - they probably contain aspartame
Look out for food that contains MSG (monosodium glutamate)
Avoid farmed salmon, try to eat Alaskan salmon which is high in omega-3s and low in neurotoxic mercury
Try to use natural cleaning products and toiletries
Fill your home with plants - they do a good job of filtering out toxins
While we can't completely avoid neurotoxins, we can protect our children's brains by minimising the exposure.
